現在東京ベイ・エリアは東京ディズニー・リゾートに代表される海浜リゾートの一大集積地である.当該地域の臨海遊園地の先駆として京成電鉄直営の谷津遊園とともに三田浜楽園が有名で,ともに湾岸部の塩田等を埋め立てて築造された.本稿では戦前期に文豪川端康成,太宰治なども滞在して小説の舞台となった日本文学ゆかりの三田浜楽園を取り上げる.事業の永続性にリスクが不可避な観光経営の視点からこの種の観光施設の経営が一般には不安視されていた時期に,いち早く東京湾岸の将来性に着目して一大海浜リゾートを創設した資本家は如何なる人物で,広大な敷地と巨額の建設費はいかなる手段により調達されたのかを明らかにしようとしたものである.すなわち同地は明治初期に高級軍人により塩田として開発され,請負業者などに譲渡され地元の船橋商業銀行の資金で拡張された.この間請負業者の没落,船橋商業銀行の破綻,台風による水害等を経て最終的に塩田の権利を継承したのは京和銀行専務の平田章千代であった.平田塩業により経営された塩田もやがて塩田そのものの採算性の低下に加え,金主の京和銀行の破綻という予期せぬ不幸に見舞われる.こうした環境の激変の最中に昭和2年12月遊園地,温泉旅館,土地建物の経営を目的とする資本金10万円の観光企業・三田浜楽園が設立された.本稿では設立時の三田浜楽園の役員構成等を詳細に分析することにより,京和銀行の人脈との関係を解明しようと努めた.また北海道の「板谷財閥」から海運業で蓄積した豊富なリスクマネーが三田浜楽園の土地を担保として豊富に供給された事実も明らかにした.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_3_full_name_2":{"attribute_name":"著者(ヨミ)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"4874","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}],"names":[{"name":"オガワ,
