The present study was intended to examine the psychometric properties of the Japanese version of the Dyadic APS-R. Japanese university students (213) completed the Japanese version of the Dyadic APS-R along with measures of mental health outcomes (self-efficacy and depression). Exploratory factor analysis revealed two factors: High Standards and Order, and Discrepancy. A reliability estimate of internal consistency of High Standards and Order, and Discrepancy was high. Confirmatory factor analysis of the Dyadic APS-R in another group of Japanese university students (108) supported the existence of 2 perfectionism factors.
