| 内容記述 | Women's independence from society has often been presented as almost impossible to attain, because women will do violence to, and contradict their basis nature. Women have often been accused of being inferior to men, with regard to teir ability to maintain and fulfill a professional role, but there is nothing in the facts we have observed to indicate the inferiority so often attributed to women. We often hear so-called liberale proclaining the need for the independence of women, but these same people, in their hearts, secretly nourish the belief that women should continue their subordinate role. To display social strength, women's independence from society, particularly in the housewife, is a necessary condition. This is a difficult, but not impossible goal. Housewives should be provided with good guidance suited to their abilities. A housewife is what society makes her. This treatise consists of five items. The first outlines the problem of the housewife's lack of independence in Japan. The second studies the social and cultural benefits through participation of housewives in various jobs and professions. The third treats the problems of childcare. The fourth encourages the study and trainings of housewives and their roles, including cultural roles. The last maintains that the housewife's independence must be realized in community or in local planning. | |||||||
